Welcome to the Lenora Braynon Smith Elementary School website. We hope you enjoy your virtual tour and we encourage you to visit our campus at 4700 N.W. Twelfth Avenue.  Ours is an inviting school, where a dedicated staff is committed to meeting the educational, emotional and social needs of our students.  

A visit to our classrooms will highlight engaging lessons with a focus on reading, mathematics, and science.  You will also observe the integration of technology into the teaching/learning process, as well as the incorporation of English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) strategies across grade levels as needed.  Students from Pre-Kindergarten to fifth grade engage in computer-assisted instruction such as Pearson Digital’s SuccessMaker, FCAT Explorer, Reading Plus, Brainchild, Riverdeep and Accelerated Reader daily.  Visiting our school would give you the opportunity to meet our wonderful students, who are models of good character, manners, and friendliness.
