VISION:  In the pursuit of excellence and believing that every child can learn, we at Lenora Braynon Smith Elementary School strive to create a safe, nurturing environment conducive to teaching and learning, where students perform at or above grade level and where the needs of the whole child are met through our Full Service Concept.  Additionally, the school is the heart of the community and works closely with parents and other community members to provide the best possible educational experience for our students and other stakeholders.

MISSION:  Our mission at Lenora Braynon Smith Elementary School is to develop and nourish  lifelong learners by creating high expectations for student achievement, building self-esteem, providing a sequential instructional program based on diagnosed needs,  utilizing current instructional technology with constant monitoring of children’s learning, encouraging parental involvement and training, and providing conditions for a safe, orderly learning environment.
